Our range of plate exchangers is subdivided into two different types: High output: featuring a special corrugated design, which increases the turbulence inside the channels and improves the coefficient of heat exchange.
Low output: featuring a special corrugated design, which reduces the turbulence inside the channels, thus keeping load losses to a minimum. These plates can be installed together, creating a pack of mixed plate exchangers that guarantee a broader range of operation.

The thermal insulation of STB plate heat exchangers consists in three panels assembled and secured by a closing lever in AISI 304 stainless steel, allowing simple installation.
The aluminium panel is 0.6 mm thick and is in turn covered with closed-cell chemically cross-linked polyolefin rubber, which in addition to excellent thermal insulation, also guarantees high-level safety against the spread of flames in the case of a fire.
The calculation programme includes the possibility to determine the exchanger dispersion over the course of a year.
