For more than thirty years, SRS shell and tube heat exchangers produced by STB Divisione Winter have been characterised by an exchange surface made with a finned copper tube with diameter 18, wound in a spiral around a steel core.
The shell is made completely in steel. Once constructed, it is insulated with mineral wool and covered with aluminium for protection. The main advantage of these exchangers is their durability, guaranteed by the construction materials and size of the exchange channels, which allow long periods of operation without creating dirt deposits or clogging.
The concept of the tube bundle, consisting in a copper tube wound in parallel in a spiral, allows the optimisation of fluid dynamics and therefore of the exchange.
STB Divisione Winter SRS shell and tube heat exchangers are manufactured and sold in compliance with Directive 97/23/EC.
